Modified epoxy for flexible bonding and sealing

Two-part adhesive based on modified epoxy resin for flexible bonding and sealing applications, fully adheres to plastics like PA, ABS, PC, PET, PMMA, PI, metals, ceramics and composites
Applications
  • Loxeal 4821 is an epoxy system used for bonding of dissimilar substrates in various bonding and sealing applications where toughness and flexibility is required.

Features and Benefits

Loxeal 4821 is a modified epoxy that forms soft and flexible bond
Provide temperature resistance up to +120°C with peaks of 150°C
Unlike general purpose epoxy adhesives, it adheres fully to PA, ABS, PC,PET, PMMA ,PI and many other plastics. Also bonds well to metals, ceramics, composites.

Notes

  • The product offers very good flexibility to bond line and thus is very good to bond dissimilar substrates.
  • It fully cures in about 72hours, thus it is important to allow full curing while evaluating and testing the product to field conditions.
  • Shelf life is 6 months in unopened packaging.
