Applications

Adhesive Solution for Nameplate Bonding on Electric Motor Fins

The current method of riveting, while functional, poses limitations in terms of sustainability and reliability. Additionally, alternatives like double sided tape have proven ineffective due to limited bonding area and debonding under heat

To address these concerns, we recommend Structural adhesives, like Crestabond M1-20, as a robust solution for nameplate bonding. Crestabond M1-20 offers:

  • Strong Adhesion: Designed for bonding to complex surfaces, including uneven or irregular areas like motor fins.

  • Heat Resistance: Capable of withstanding elevated temperatures, ensuring durability in heated conditions.

  • Non-Invasive Application: Eliminates the need for drilling or hammering, thereby preventing any potential damage to the motor fins.

  • Long-Term Sustainability: Provides a reliable, long-lasting bond, minimizing maintenance and rework costs.
