  • This product is formulated to be used on applications where a permanent joint is desired such as rotor to shaft assembly.
  • Due to its low viscosity and fast fixturing it is recommended to be used on interference fit and light fitted parts.
  • It is also approved as a threadsealant with gaseous oxygen upto +20bar at +60°C (BAM)
  • Excess product must be immediately cleaned at the time of application


Application of Loxeal retaining compound for augmenting the strength in a gear to shaft assembly

The video demonstrates the application of Loxeal 83-21, a low viscosity, fast curing, high strength retaining compound, used for augment the the strength of joint between shaft and gear in a gear box assembly. The adhesive, fills the microscopic gap between the OD of shaft and ID of gear hub, and enhances the load carrying capacity of joint.
